About The Writers
Bill Chua, an engineer by profession, is currently working as regional marketing manager. Prior to this, he was regional materials manager dealing with inbound and outbound logistics processes, procurement, warehousing and inventory management. He collaborates actively with the Singapore Logistics Association to organise logistics and supply chain courses for the industry. Mr Chua heads the subcommittee for certification, which sets the direction for the launch and management of certification courses offered at diploma and higher diploma levels. He is also involved in the professional training of purchasing personnel and logisticians at the Singapore Institute of Purchasing and Materials Management (SIPMM).
Teo Kee Boon has been lecturing at Temasek Polytechnic since Nov 2004 and is actively involved in the training and development of logistics education for the industry. He joined the logistics industry during the early years of development in Singapore in 1991. Since then, he has accumulated much experience in both the operational knowledge of logistics management and the strategic aspects of the business. Mr Teo graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Science (Mathematics) and holds a Master of Science (Logistics) from RMIT of Australia.
